Sharron Osbourne summed it up perfectly saying
‘they are faceless people who have an opinion on you, who haven’t even met you’.
Enough is enough. Honestly, what gives people the right to enormously and cowardly attack others online? Yeah we all have an opinion, but if it’s nasty, keep it to yourself.
Deliberately writing something to attack someone else reflects only on you as person. Is that really who you are?
Give Lara a break.
Bye for now.
They say Black is back but Friday is ALL about Orange. Be sure to don orange, whether it’s the colour of your nails, shoes, lippy, blush, handbags or even knickers to support the ‘Just say no to Bullying’ campaign. Let’s kick this unsocial behaviour to the curb. Enough is enough!!!
I spent 8 hours on Sunday feasting on seafood and enjoying delicious wine at the annual Gambaro Mud Crab Cup.
It was brilliant.
Anyone can attend this once a year event in which all of the funds are matched and donated to the Courier Mails Children’s fund. Michael and his two sons Johhny and Donny ensure $26000 was given to the kids after a highly successful day of wining, dining and entertaining all guests.
My highlight of the day was betting on crabbies, (all of which are still probably stationery) and enjoying the fabulous company and ambience Gambaro’s provided.
The seafood was mouth watering. Check out the size of the claws we were made to feast on!
If you’re up for a day of cold beer, fantastic food, live entertainment and races with a twist ensure the Gambaro Mud Crab Cup is in your calendar for 2011.
Bye for now.
I am not one to spend hours in the shops, but how much does ones’ fashion represent their being?
I love frocking up, but if I could pay someone to shop for me.. I would!
Bye for now.
Ok; what a cracking night!
Between arty editing of hilarious statements and an entertaining and interesting step back in time, last nights Allen Border Medal at Crown Casino was a night enjoyed by all. Representing qld, table 80 kept me in fits of laughter, ensuring my maiden voyage into the cricketing world went off without a hitch. The boys scrubbed up well but like always, it was the ladies who stole the media spotlight. Personally, I loved Lee and Lara’s looks but it was definitely my one shouldered gown that stole my heart. ‘Angela Menz’ is responsible for my 9/10 stunning gown (Herald Sun) but I want to know your thoughts. Check out www.heraldsun.com.au for all the pics and to vote for your favourites!! Want an ‘Angela Menz’ gown? angela.menz@gmail.com or find her on facebook.
Bye for now.
P.s Ang… Thankyou.
Tonight I am hitting the red carpet in Melbourne at Crown Casino for Cricket’s night of nights, the AB Medal. Chris and I are all set to go, especially since my gown has just had the final touches applied. Brilliant up and coming designer ‘Angela Menz’ whipped together my dream number in record time so be sure to stay posted for more piccies. Here’s a teaser..
Bye for now
Monday the 15th of February is the day the crickets Wags go nuts about fashion.
It’s very exciting to announce I am having my dress made by upcoming design label ‘Angela Menz’. Keep an eye out for my fashion updates and of course Angela’s brilliant designs.
Bye for now.
So, I have been home for a while now, and to tell you the truth, it is kind of hard to get back into the swing of things. I went from Africa, to Gladstone, to Sydney and finally back to Brissy in the past 2 weeks and am hitting Melbourne on Sunday.
Wayyyyy too much time is spent in airports!
On the upside, I have had the chance to tune into funny radio boys ‘Hamish and Andy’ and last week they had Vanessa Amorosi sing a tune unaided and man oh man, she is brilliant! I have never seen her live but will be pulling hair to get a ticket to her next gig. She is one talented chick!
Bye for now.
